Have you been having trouble engaging youth with your organization? Do you need summer help but not know where to look? We have a solution for you!
A partnership of Amesbury youth and adults have been meeting to discuss how we can work together to help youth feel more connected to their community.
On a recent survey, 38% of youth, grades 6-12, responded that they felt young people are given useful roles in the community, and only 27% felt they were valued by adults in the community. As local businesses and non-profits, we know youth are valuable as consumers, future workers and community members. We want to help connect youth with local businesses to help youth feel valued and also gain impactful real life experiences. We are launching a “Seize Your Summer” event at the high school on May 1st. Where youth will have the opportunity to hear about local job, internship and volunteer opportunities available in Amesbury for them this summer. We are asking if you would like to participate in this event.

This partnership is made up of local individuals, organizations and businesses that are committed to helping support young people in Amesbury. The PACT is run in partnership with the Essex County Asset Builder Network (ECAB), a regional initiative of six local communities partnering together to support youth.
