Data collected can inform businesses on the population, demographics, social, housing, and economic aspects of their existing or targeted communities. Knowing how to access reliable data can help businesses better understand their potential customer base, competition, and available workforce. These data can also assist with business planning and outreach strategies. This introductory-level workshop will provide information about U.S. Census Bureau surveys, data and data access tools available, and will provide live demonstrations of the data.census.gov and Census Business Builder online data access tools.
