Come down and enjoy live music in the Al Capp Amphitheater. Each Thursday night, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., live bands will play for the community to freely enjoy. 

The Amesbury Chamber of Commerce is excited to have partnered with several local businesses to organize weekly bands throughout the season, creating yet another great reason to enjoy an evening in Amesbury's downtown.

Band Bio: 

Speed the Plough has been playing acoustic traditional music together for over 40 years,
featuring fiddle, banjo, mandolin, pennywhistle, guitar, and vocals. The band includes Amesbury resident Dave Medvitz on fiddle and banjo, Merrimack resident Patrick Horning on Mandolin, fiddle, penny whistle, and guitar, and Hampstead NH resident Bill Perry on guitar and mandolin. The band can be found playing at farmers markets, orchards, farms and other venues throughout northeastern MA and southern NH, and is also found on Spotify.
