Key Responsibilities: - Inventory Buying & Curation:
- Purchase high-quality, gently used children's clothing, toys, equipment, and books from our customers.
- Assess the condition of each item, ensuring it meets our quality standards.
- Set fair and competitive price points based on brand, condition, and demand.
- Have an excellent understanding of children’s brands and their quality, ensuring we offer the best to our customers.
- Baby Gear Expertise:
- Knowledge of baby equipment, including the ability to assemble, break down, and assess the condition of items like strollers, pack ‘n plays, exersaucers, etc.
- ·Sales Associate:
- Operate the cash register, assist customers, tag and organize merchandise, maintain a visually appealing sales floor, and assist with online product posting and customer messaging.
Qualifications: - Strong knowledge of children’s fashion, popular brands, and a good eye for quality.
- Understanding of baby gear, including safety standards, assembly, and breakdown.
- Ability to make informed decisions on pricing, based on market demand and product quality.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, a great team player and the ability to work independently.
- High level of attention to detail and a passion for sustainability.
Hours & Availability: This position is 36-40 hours per week, including either Saturday or Sunday. Please only apply if this matches your availability.
Physical Requirements: This role involves being on your feet for extended periods, performing tasks that require lifting and carrying merchandise, and interacting with customers throughout the day.
