2023 Women Envision: Walking Through Life Retreat- Leading Your Way

Friday, October 27, 2023 (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

Join women of the Amesbury-area business & non-profit community for our 2nd Annual
WE: Walking Through Life Retreat on Friday, October 27th.

Join a group of local women who have created opportunities for wellness, development, networking, inspiration, and fun. And experience all of this while making downtown Amesbury your playground for this special retreat.

Registration will open at 8:00 a.m., during which guests will be treated to a breakfast buffet at Flatbread Co.

At 9:00 a.m., our day will be kicked off with an inspirational presentation from best-selling author Henriette Lazaridis.

Attendees will then head over to Crave for Money & Mimosas: Financial Leadership Panel where we will begin the days sessions with a moderator- lead panel discussion of four local women specialists in ”money” in historically male dominated fields. In often shied away areas of college planning, estate planning, social security, and taxation, hear how our panelists have navigated these industries as women and as they offer tips on employing great steps in your own financial journey. Take time to reflect and elevate the power of your personal financial leadership and enjoy a mimosa while you do it!

Attendees will then split up to attend one of two breakout sessions before gathering back together at Outrider Beer Company where we will be treated to lunch and a fashion show put together by many of our local boutiques and fashion gurus. This will be followed by us separating once more for two additional seminars.

The day will end at 3:30 p.m. with casual drinks and networking at Brewery Silvaticus.

Each guest will be provided with a complimentary copy of Henriette Lazaridis' most recent novel, Terra Nova.

For registrants interested in helping us provide winter items to local women in need, we will be collecting the following items for Community Action; (new or gently used) winter coats for women, winter boots for women, hats and gloves for women & sweatshirts for women. Donations will be collected at both breakfast & lunch.

Tickets for this event are $99 per person and must be booked in advance. The cost includes breakfast, lunch, and some gifts. The full program for October 27th is listed below. Some of the seminars are capped, and so will be available on a first come, first served basis. A summary of each seminar is listed below the day's agenda.

Guests interested in attending the fashion show & lunch only may purchase a ticket for $20, email sheila@amesburychamber.com for more information.
