Log on one time or every month until May for an introduction to African art and its variety of forms, depth of history, and roles in Western and global culture. This series is presented in conjunction with Groton Public Library and public libraries across Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

March's Topic: Oftentimes, African art in Western institutions is labeled as “anonymous.” Learn more about a variety of African artists, traditional and modern, in this month’s presentation. About the Presenter: Jean M. Borgatti, PhD, is a consulting curator at Fitchburg Art Museum, as well as a former Fulbright Scholar (2002-2004 and 2014-2015), professor at the University of Benin in Nigeria, and is affiliated with Clark University and Boston University.
