Celebrate our 7th annual Christmas Tree Drop-off event and join us in making a difference! For the 2nd year, we are proud to partner with and raise funds for Emmaus, Inc., a Haverhill-based charity helping adults and children transition from homelessness to self-sufficiency.

Location: 201 Pond St Georgetown, MA (Goats To Go/Great Rock Farm)

Reservation Fee: $5 per carload, non-refundable fee (new this year)

Suggested Donation: $20+ per family/tree (cash/check upon arrival or Venmo in advance. Checks can be made out to Emmaus, Inc)

What’s Happening: The Farm is open for some Holiday Cheer at this Annual Fundraiser Event.  Live Music: Enjoy live music by Lee Biddle from 9:30 to 11:00 AM. Goat Action: Watch the goats and llama as they entertain themselves, and us, as they nibble on the trees. We will have some merch tables and some concessions as well.

What to Bring:

• Bring your tinsel and ornament-free, non-fire retardant trees for our goats and farm friends to enjoy, or stp by without a tree to enjoy the farm and make a donation!

• A spirit of giving! Please bring your own hand sanitizer and note that no public restrooms are available.

• Dress warmly for winter farm conditions (snow, ice, or mud are likely).

• Tree drop-offs are accepted only during the event hours, with no outside visits.

Why Christmas Trees?

Our goats, sheep, llama, and chickens love Christmas trees as fun winter enrichment. They’ll nibble, rub, and play with the trees, which offer sensory stimulation in the cold months. While trees don’t replace hay and feed for our goats, they add excitement to the farm animals’ day. Goats’ rumens—bacterial “furnaces” within their digestive system—help keep them warm through winter as they break down food into energy.

Join us in making this season brighter by supporting the community, Emmaus, Inc. and continue your families and friends holiday cheer by joining us at the farm!
