Teaching Preschoolers to Read

Teaching Preschoolers to Read

Tuesday, October 11, 2022 (7:00 PM - 8:30 PM) (EDT)

Description

Learning to read is the hardest thing a child will ever do. But learning to read is happening even before they walk into the school door. As parents and preschool teachers, there is a great deal we can do to get kids ready to learn to read. No, not flash cards and letter drills, but deep and fun interactions with stories, books, and words. Come and learn a little science and a lot of fun activities that will prepare your preschooler for the big adventure of reading.

This program will be lead by Dr. Stephanie Gottwald and hosted by the Amesbury Public Library Registration is required through the Amesbury Public Library to get the Zoom link for this virtual program. Free
