Amesbury’s Downtown Fairies, Gnomes & Mystic Homes is a two-day event, where you can explore downtown Amesbury to see the creations of our local fairy and gnome house builders.

Prizes are awarded to the favorite mystical creature house, as well as most loved via likes/votes on the Amesbury Chamber’s Facebook and Instagram.

Fairy houses are small structures for fairies and other magical creatures to visit. Fairy houses are made of natural materials such as sticks, bark, dry grasses, pebbles, shells, feathers, seaweed, pinecones, and nuts. Ranging from rustic to intricate, these whimsical habitats are built by children, families, gardeners, and nature lovers reflecting their creativity.

But these enchanted homes don't build themselves--we need your creativity and inspiration to create the entries for the first ever Downtown Fairies, Gnomes & Mystic Homes contest!

If you would like to participate in our fairy house contest, please make sure to fill out and turn in a contest application form by July 8th, 2021. There are also hard copies available at the Amesbury Chamber, Coco, Early & Associates office at 87 Main Street and at 18 Friend Street.
