Our featured non-profit partner for the evening is The Pettengill House, Inc. It was founded in 1994 by a diverse group of local residents and agency representatives to specifically address the needs of the most at-risk, underserved children and families. Their original goals were primarily prevention related. However, it immediately became clear that the organization’s clientele were primarily concerned with survival issues of food, clothing, shelter, health and safety. Their Family Resource Center is located right here in Amesbury. In 2018 alone they had over 8,100 volunteer hours, over 7,000 donors and over 50 local, community and state partners help with their advocacy and support services.
